A submersible bypasses the suction limit entirely: the motor sits at the bottom of the casing, and pressurized water travels up through the drop pipe to the surface. What a Submersible Pump System Actually Includes

A complete installation involves drop pipe (typically polyethylene or galvanized steel, set in sections down to the pump), a torque arrestor to keep the unit centered in the casing, a sanitary pitless adapter or wellhead fitting where the pipe exits the casing below the frost line, a check valve to prevent backflow, and wiring run through the well cap to a control box or pressure switch at the surface.
